A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of running a From Pantry to Petals art workshop at Bankstown Arts Centre’s Open Day. It was such a joy to see people of all ages cutting, pasting, and creating their own flower filled jars. I thought, why keep the fun just for one day? So I’m sharing the activity sheets as a printable digital download in my shop.
This is a self-guided creative activity you can enjoy at home. The download includes line art drawings made by me, and your task is to bring them to life: cut, paste, collage, decorate, and most importantly, have fun with it. The world is your oyster!
Use paints, coloured pencils, pastels, markers, or whatever you have on hand. The main thing is to play, relax, and enjoy the process.
What’s Included in the Digital Download
-
3 jar designs (Vegemite, jam, soft drink)
-
8 flower designs
-
5 sheets in total
How to Make Your Pantry to Petals Collage
-
Print your sheets – A3 is best, but any size works.
-
If using paints: print on thicker paper (250–300gsm).
-
If using pencils, textas, or crayons: regular office paper is fine.
-
-
Decorate your flowers – colour them in however you like.
-
Cut them out – carefully cut out your chosen blooms.
-
Pick your jar – choose one of the three jar outlines as your base.
-
Arrange & glue – experiment with different flower placements, then glue them down.
-
Decorate & play – add colour, backgrounds, and finishing touches using any materials you love.

How It Works
-
Once you purchase, you’ll get an instant download link.
-
Print as many times as you like for personal use.
-
Please don’t share or resell, each purchase is a small token for the work I’ve put into creating these sheets, and I’ve kept the pricing low so it’s fair for everyone.
I can’t wait to see what you create with From Pantry to Petals. Don’t forget to share your collages with me—I’d love to see your jars bloom!
