Meet Abigail the black cockatoo, she has quite a curious disposition. Her favourite past time is to study the daily commutes of nearby birds and imagine all the adventures they encounter.

Did you know?

Endemic to mainland Australia, Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos are found in all mainland states, with five distinct subspecies occurring in eight discrete populations across the continent. Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos inhabit a wide variety of habitats, especially forests and woodlands dominated by eucalypts or casuarinas.

Black cockatoos are an important part of Aboriginal mythology. It is believed that their calls announce the coming of the rainy season.
