Frangipanis are usually white, becoming more colourful the closer to the equator you go. In modern Polynesian culture, the frangipani can be worn by women to indicate their relationship status - over the right ear if seeking a relationship, and over the left if taken. This drawing is from the 100 Days of Flowers projected completed in 2015.

This is an original drawing created with Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils on 250gsm bristol artist paper.
