The gillyflower was once as popular as the rose it was used for all occasions, it was even used in sauces and drinks and even used to part the rent. This drawing is from the 100 Days of Flowers projected completed in 2015.
This is an original drawing created with Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils on 250gsm bristol artist paper.
